What We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Veliero, we may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, information generated through your use of our website and services, and information that we receive from third parties where permitted by applicable law. The personal information we may collect includes your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, account information, login credentials, appointment information, order information, customer-service information, and other information that you voluntarily provide to us. We may collect information relating to purchases and transactions, including products and services purchased, order history, appointment history, payment and billing information, shipping and delivery information, gift cards, store credits, discounts, promotional activity, returns, refunds, alterations, and other information associated with your transactions with Veliero. Payment information may be collected and processed through third-party payment processors. Unless otherwise expressly stated, Veliero does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers or security codes on its own systems. When you communicate with Veliero by email, SMS or text message, telephone, website forms, customer-support channels, social-media platforms, appointment systems, or other communication methods, we may collect and retain information contained in those communications. When you visit or interact with our website, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, links clicked, dates and times of access, approximate location derived from technical information, website interactions, and other information concerning how you use our website. We may also receive information from third-party service providers, payment processors, shipping providers, appointment providers, analytics providers, advertising providers, business partners, authentication providers, or other sources where permitted by applicable law.
How We Use Your Information
Veliero may use the information we collect to process and fulfill orders, provide products and services, create and manage customer accounts, schedule and manage appointments, process payments, process refunds and credits, provide alterations and custom tailoring services, maintain customer records, communicate with customers, and provide customer support. We may use personal information to maintain measurements, garment specifications, fitting preferences, order history, alteration history, fabric selections, and other information necessary to provide current and future custom-garment services. We may use personal information to communicate with you about transactions, orders, appointments, payments, alterations, deliveries, account activity, security matters, service updates, and other information necessary to provide services you request. Where permitted by applicable law, we may use your information to send promotional communications, marketing messages, special offers, product announcements, and other information about Veliero. We may use information to maintain and improve our website, products, services, systems, customer experience, and business operations; conduct analytics and business planning; detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized activity; enforce our agreements and policies; protect the rights, property, and safety of Veliero, our customers, employees, service providers, and others; and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, court, law-enforcement, or governmental requirements.
Measurements & Specifications
Because Veliero provides custom and made-to-measure garments, we may collect and maintain measurements, sizing information, fit preferences, garment specifications, tailoring history, alteration information, and other information necessary to create, reproduce, alter, modify, or improve your garments. Depending on the services you request, this information may include height, weight when voluntarily provided, chest, waist, hips, shoulder measurements, sleeve measurements, jacket length, trouser measurements, and other measurements reasonably necessary for the construction, fitting, alteration, or reproduction of a garment. We may also maintain information concerning fabric selections, colors, buttons, lining, monograms, construction preferences, fit preferences, style preferences, alteration instructions, previous garments, and other custom specifications. We use this information to provide the custom-fitting and tailoring services you request and, where appropriate, to maintain your specifications for future orders and services. Measurements and garment specifications are treated as customer information and are not sold to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. If information provided for tailoring or garment services could constitute sensitive or specially protected personal information under applicable law, Veliero will process that information only as permitted by applicable law and for appropriate business purposes.
Third-Party Services
Veliero may use third-party companies, contractors, technology providers, and service providers to operate our website and business and to provide services requested by our customers. These providers may include companies that provide payment processing, website hosting, cloud storage, e-commerce functionality, order management, customer relationship management, appointment scheduling, shipping and delivery, email services, SMS or text messaging, analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, authentication, customer support, accounting, and other business or technical services. Depending on the service involved, these providers may receive, access, store, or process personal information on our behalf or independently as permitted by applicable law. Veliero seeks to use reputable service providers and takes reasonable steps to require appropriate handling and protection of personal information where applicable. Third-party providers may maintain their own privacy policies, terms, security practices, and legal obligations. Veliero is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties acting outside our control.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
Veliero may use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies to operate, secure, analyze, personalize, and improve our website and services. These technologies may allow us to maintain account functionality, remember preferences, maintain shopping carts and checkout functionality, understand website usage, measure performance, detect fraud and security threats, analyze traffic, improve our services, measure advertising effectiveness, and, where permitted by law, support personalized or targeted advertising. Some cookies and similar technologies may be provided by third-party service providers operating features on our website. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the ability to accept, reject, restrict, or otherwise control certain non-essential cookies and similar technologies. You may also be able to manage cookies through your browser or device settings. Where applicable law requires consent before placing or using certain cookies or similar technologies, Veliero will obtain the required consent and provide appropriate choices.
U.S. Federal Privacy & Consumer-Protection Laws
Veliero is committed to complying with applicable federal laws governing privacy, consumer protection, data security, electronic communications, children's privacy, financial information, consumer reporting information, and other categories of information that may apply to our business and activities. Depending on the circumstances, federal requirements may include the Federal Trade Commission Act, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), federal electronic communications and marketing requirements, applicable federal data-security requirements, and applicable federal data-breach notification requirements. Not every federal privacy law applies to every business or every type of information. Veliero will comply with federal requirements to the extent they apply to our business, services, information, and activities.
United States Privacy Laws
Veliero recognizes that numerous U.S. states have enacted comprehensive consumer-privacy laws that provide residents with rights concerning their personal information. Where applicable, Veliero will comply with state privacy laws governing the collection, use, disclosure, sale, sharing, retention, security, and other processing of personal information. Depending on the state in which you reside and the circumstances applicable to you, your rights may include the right to access or know what personal information is collected about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of certain personal information, obtain certain information in a portable format, opt out of certain processing activities, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, opt out of targeted advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where applicable, and appeal a decision concerning a privacy request. State laws may contain different definitions, thresholds, exemptions, deadlines, verification requirements, and exceptions. Accordingly, not every right described in this section will necessarily apply to every customer or website visitor.
California Privacy Rights
To the extent applicable, Veliero will comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”). California residents may have the right to know about personal information collected about them, request access to certain personal information, request deletion of certain personal information, request correction of inaccurate personal information, opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights. California residents may also have rights relating to the use of personal information for targeted advertising or other activities defined as “sharing” under applicable California law. Veliero will provide California residents with applicable notices and mechanisms required by California law, including a Notice at Collection where required.
Notice at Collection
Where required by applicable California law, Veliero will provide a Notice at Collection at or before the point at which personal information is collected. The Notice at Collection may identify the categories of personal information collected, the purposes for which the information is used, applicable retention information, and other information required by law. Where required, the Notice at Collection will also provide information concerning applicable rights and opt-out mechanisms.
Sale, Sharing & Targeted Advertising
Veliero does not sell personal information for money unless expressly disclosed to you and permitted by applicable law. However, certain privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” targeted advertising, or similar activities more broadly than ordinary commercial use of those terms. Certain disclosures or transfers of information to advertising, analytics, social-media, or technology providers could therefore be treated differently under particular laws. Where Veliero's activities constitute a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or another regulated activity under applicable law, Veliero will provide the notices, disclosures, consent mechanisms, and opt-out rights required by that law. Where required by applicable law, Veliero will honor recognized browser-based or device-based privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control or similar legally recognized opt-out signals.
Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning the personal information Veliero maintains about you. These rights may include the right to access or know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share; request correction of inaccurate personal information; request deletion of certain personal information; request portability of certain personal information; opt out of certain sales or sharing; opt out of targeted advertising; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and appeal a decision concerning a privacy request. Certain jurisdictions may provide additional rights concerning sensitive personal information, biometric information, precise geolocation information, children's information, profiling, automated decision-making, targeted advertising, or other categories of information. Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination or retaliation.
How to Submit a Privacy Request
You may submit a privacy request by contacting Veliero through the privacy contact method provided on our website. Depending on the request and applicable law, we may need to verify your identity before providing personal information, making changes to your information, or completing a request. We will process verified privacy requests within the time periods required by applicable law. Where applicable law permits an extension of the response period, Veliero may take such an extension and will provide any notice required by law. You will not be required to create an account solely for the purpose of submitting a privacy request where applicable law prohibits such a requirement.
Marketing Communications
Where permitted by applicable law, Veliero may send promotional emails, text messages, notifications, or other marketing communications regarding products, services, appointments, promotions, events, or other Veliero-related information. You may opt out of promotional email communications by using the unsubscribe mechanism contained in the applicable message. For marketing text messages, you may generally opt out by replying “STOP” or following the instructions provided in the applicable message. Opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily stop transactional, administrative, security, or service-related communications that are necessary to fulfill an order, provide a service, manage an account, or communicate important information. Where applicable law requires consent before sending certain marketing communications, Veliero will obtain and maintain the required consent.
Children's Privacy
Veliero's website and services are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental consent or other legal requirements apply unless Veliero has implemented the procedures required by applicable law. If Veliero becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where collection was not permitted, Veliero will take reasonable steps to address the information in accordance with applicable law. Where COPPA or another children's privacy law applies, Veliero will comply with applicable requirements concerning parental consent, notice, parental rights, information collection, disclosure, retention, and security.
Sensitive Personal Information
Certain privacy laws provide additional protections for categories of information considered sensitive personal information or sensitive personal data. Depending on the jurisdiction and circumstances, sensitive information may include government identifiers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, biometric information, health information, information concerning race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, or other specially protected information. Veliero will process sensitive personal information only where permitted by applicable law and for legitimate and appropriate purposes. Veliero does not intentionally request sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for a service, transaction, legal requirement, security purpose, or other legitimate purpose.
Data Retention
Veliero retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing products and services, maintaining customer and transaction records, maintaining measurement and garment records, processing accounting and tax information, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, maintaining security, and satisfying applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, accounting, or other obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the reason it was collected, the nature of our relationship with you, whether you maintain an account or ongoing relationship with Veliero, applicable legal requirements, and legitimate business needs. When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for a legitimate business or legal purpose, Veliero may delete, anonymize, de-identify, or securely dispose of the information in accordance with applicable law and our internal retention practices.
Data Security
Veliero uses reasonable administrative, technical, physical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, alteration, misuse, loss, or destruction. Our safeguards may include access controls, authentication measures, security procedures, secure communications, vendor controls, monitoring, system protections, and other measures appropriate to the nature of the information and reasonably foreseeable risks. We limit access to personal information to individuals, contractors, and service providers who have a legitimate business need for such access and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality or other obligations where applicable. No website, database, transmission method, electronic storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, while Veliero takes reasonable measures to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Breaches & Security Incidents
If Veliero becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate the incident and take reasonable steps to contain, remediate, and prevent further unauthorized access or use. Where applicable law requires notification following a security incident or data breach, Veliero will provide notice to affected individuals, regulators, governmental authorities, law-enforcement agencies, or other parties within the time and manner required by applicable law. The content and timing of any notice may depend on the nature of the incident, the information involved, applicable legal requirements, and whether notification could interfere with an investigation or other lawful process.
International Data Transfers
If Veliero becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate the incident and take reasonable steps to contain, remediate, and prevent further unauthorized access or use. Where applicable law requires notification following a security incident or data breach, Veliero will provide notice to affected individuals, regulators, governmental authorities, law-enforcement agencies, or other parties within the time and manner required by applicable law. The content and timing of any notice may depend on the nature of the incident, the information involved, applicable legal requirements, and whether notification could interfere with an investigation or other lawful process.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom & Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction whose privacy laws provide similar protections, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law. Depending on applicable law, these rights may include the right to access personal information, request correction, request deletion, request restriction of processing, object to certain processing, request data portability, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority. Where required, Veliero will provide information concerning the legal basis for processing, categories of personal information, recipients, retention periods, international transfers, and other information required by applicable law.
State-Specific Privacy Rights
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy legislation may have additional rights depending on the applicable law and whether Veliero meets the applicable jurisdictional thresholds. These states may include, among others, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, as well as any additional jurisdictions whose privacy laws become applicable to Veliero. Because state privacy laws differ in scope, definitions, exemptions, thresholds, deadlines, and available rights, Veliero will apply the requirements of the law applicable to the particular consumer and processing activity. Where necessary, Veliero may provide supplemental state-specific privacy notices describing additional rights and procedures.
Do Not Track & Privacy Signals
Some browsers and devices provide privacy settings or signals intended to communicate a user's privacy preferences. Where a privacy signal is legally recognized and applicable to Veliero's processing activities, Veliero will process and honor that signal in accordance with applicable law. Where required by law, this may include Global Privacy Control or another legally recognized opt-out preference signal.
Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
Veliero may use automated technologies for ordinary website functionality, analytics, fraud prevention, security, personalization, or similar operational purposes. Unless otherwise disclosed, Veliero does not intend to use automated decision-making or profiling in a manner that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. If Veliero begins using automated decision-making or profiling in a manner that triggers additional legal disclosure or consent requirements, Veliero will provide the notices and rights required by applicable law.
Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to websites, applications, social-media platforms, payment services, or other third-party services that are not operated or controlled by Veliero. If you access a third-party website or service through a link on our website, that third party may collect and process information according to its own privacy policy and terms. Veliero is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party websites or services.
Business Transfers
If Veliero is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, sale of the business, bankruptcy, or similar corporate transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction where permitted by applicable law. Any successor entity or recipient of personal information may be required to honor applicable privacy obligations and the rights of individuals under applicable law.
Legal Disclosures
Veliero may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, subpoenas, court orders, governmental requests, or other lawful requirements. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, security, or legitimate interests of Veliero, our customers, employees, service providers, or other individuals; investigate fraud or unauthorized activity; enforce our agreements; establish or defend legal claims; or prevent harm. Veliero will seek to limit such disclosures to information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and will comply with applicable legal requirements.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate information when interacting with Veliero and for notifying us when information you have provided needs to be corrected or updated. You should also take reasonable precautions to protect your account credentials, devices, passwords, and other information used to access Veliero services. Veliero will not ask you to provide unnecessary passwords, security codes, or other sensitive authentication information through unsolicited communications.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Veliero may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, products, services, technology, data practices, third-party providers, or applicable laws and regulations. When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date displayed at the top of the policy. If we make a material change that requires additional notice under applicable law, we may provide additional notice through our website, email, account notification, or another legally appropriate method. The updated Privacy Policy will become effective on the date specified in the updated policy unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Where required by applicable law, Veliero will provide additional contact information or designate a privacy representative, data-protection officer, or other responsible party.
